Continuous Improvement Lean Six Sigma SMEs online training Dan Briscoe

Innovative new eLearning company launches to change the way to learn Lean

A Northwest based company that aims to transform how people learn continuous improvement skills, has launched an innovative new learning platform.

Click2 learn has drawn on over 20 years ‘experience from leading industry experts, to develop learning modules that will empower people to get essential continuous improvement skills at any time, and from any device.

This fresh approach is one of the first of its kind to offer online content on this subject, and is the brainchild of Dan Briscoe, a long-standing Lean Six Sigma consultant.

Dan, who is based in Greater Manchester, said: “I have always been passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping people become the best version of themselves. Throughout my career I have trained and coached hundreds of people to apply continuous improvement skills in their jobs.

“However, this has often been part of large-scale transformation projects and I realised that smaller companies and individuals wanting to learn about continuous improvement, would typically have to attend face-to-face training courses over several days, usually at a significant cost. I wanted to change the way people learn about continuous improvement, by creating high quality training material, that people can access in bite sizes chunks and at a time that suits their lifestyle.”

Dan also added that he specifically wanted to cut through much of the jargon and unusual sounding words that are often associated with continuous improvement.

“Our material is written in plain English and our aim is that people can engage with the subject and see examples that relate to many different industry sectors.

“I was always frustrated when coaching people outside of manufacturing in these tools and techniques, having to talk about terminology that was primarily based in the world of automotive production, when the coaches actually worked for a bank,” he said.

Click2 learn have also invested in a platform that provides learners with access to their interactive courses 24/7. The learning management system (LMS) offers an easy to navigate experience that enables people to learn at their own speed. People can upload assignments; download supporting content and even access social learning forums to share good ideas with other learners.

Dan added: “We wanted the experience to be as good as having an expert in the room with you, so we have combined video content, interactive ‘drag n drop’ features, real world scenarios, the ability to ask questions throughout the courses and even options speak to our experts directly.”

The team at click2 learn are also concentrating on developing new material and finding ways to continuously improve how they help their customers learn.

To celebrate the release of their next course, entitled Performance Management, click2 learn are offering two courses and a FREE coaching session for £99 (usual price over £200).
